CALL FOR PROPOSALS
Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages has launched a conference “Human and national traits through Great Silk Road: language, education and culture”
The conference takes place on 29-30th of may in 2015. Scientific-practical conference hosted by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education and will be conducted jointly with the centre of contemporary history of Uzbekistan and Shanghai International Studies University.
The aim of the scientific-practical conference is to study and discuss the following: the role of Great Silk road in the development of world civilization, education, language, culture in the countries through the silk road especially in China and Uzbekistan, the influence in development of these countries. Accordingly the conference aimed for new methods of teaching foreign languages the new methods of interpretation in linguistics and other related issues.
Topics to be covered in the conference include the following :
• Theory of Language and Literature;
• The language, education and culture along the countries of the Great Silk Road;
• contemporary history of Uzbekistan;
• The methodology and theory of didactics in teaching foreign languages;
• Textual and Literary Source;
• Cultural History and Cultural Studies.
The working languages of the conference are Uzbek, English, Chinese and Russian.
Processing and submitting abstracts and papers at the conference:
Materials are available in the editor MS Word, font Times New Roman, font size 14. Format A4 (210-297). Field sizes: top and bottom - 2 cm, right - 3 cm on the left - 1.5 cm. The name of the publication specified in capital letters, bold and automatically aligns the middle. On the next line it should be given, the surname and the name of the author, as well as place of work. Line spacing - 1.5. Materials published after editing (editing the responsibility of the author). The text should be submitted in paper and electronic versions. Papers will be accepted until April 15, 2015
